My daughter and I decided to change up
the look of her room. She was now going to have a king size bed and wanted a simple look for the headboard. We researched a bit and chose this one. I made my own stain by soaking steel wool in vinegar.
Since she didn't have king size before, I decided to make frame instead of buying one. This gave me something to attach the headboard to also.

My daughters friend had a sleepover shortly after I completed her headboard/bed frame. She loved it. Her parents asked me if I would make one for them. They decided they wanted one that was distressed white. It turned out so soft and vintage. Their plan was to put in guest bedroom, but her friend decided she wanted it in her room. So sweet!
