wood floor mirror
07/08/2016-07/24/2016
I originally wanted to build this floor mirror for our master bedroom, but after building, decided it would look better in my daughter's room.

I built mirror using some trim wood, by just cutting and placing diagonally.
then painted a few colors to match my daughters room. I used standard size floor mirror in the center.

monogram tray's

Before a long weekend trip that we were taking to visit my two brother-in-laws and their wives, I wanted to make a gift for them.

I decided that I would just make them both a monogrammed tray as a gift.

Gave me a fun project and something special to give them as a gift.
couch table
01/12/2016 - 01/23/2016
I had a always thought it would be cool to have some type of table behind the couch. To me it needed to be the right couch because of size and/or height. It also needed to be the right house.

In Illinois I finally had both.
I just needed to find or create something that was my style.

I was so excited that I finally saved enough bottle caps to make this mirror. Magic Hat #9 has cute little sayings under every cap.

colorful outdoor table and wall art
02/26/2013-03/06/2013
For the fun of it, I built this table and outdoor wall art for by the pool.

Figured I could store pool towels on it, keep swim goggles in the little basket.

lounge chairs
04/23/2014-05/09/2014

Once our purchased lounge chairs started to shred, I looked up options for building a couple - in the hopes of them lasting longer.

I found a plan by Ana White I modified. I used thicker wood for the base. I also built them to work with the two cushions I already bought.
It was nice that you could lay them flat or tilted up for a few options. I used waterproof stain. I re-sanded and stained each spring.

We left them with the house when we moved.
